BATH TIME! Get in the vans!
Got up early this morning but in a really good mood; maybe it’s just the idea of a field trip… I DO love field trips! Had a great ride in/slept a bit on Charissa’s shoulder. We stopped in Oxford for a look around and on first impressions, I like Cambridge better. I think the bikes may have won me over. Got some nice shoes in Oxford though!
We got to see the Ashmolean and Pitt Rivers Museum; two more examples of curiosity cabinets. To be honest, by the Ashmolean, I was starting to get really fed up with the museums and collections we see. Maybe it’s just myself becoming numb to it all but I still by my point that the world is too obsessed with preserving the past. We are leaving no room for our futures. Maybe we need to get over ourselves a bit. The more I see, the more I realize my stance… just my thoughts of course.
I think it’s almost time for that break!
We get to a really nice hostel in Bath to find out that I’ll be sharing a room with 9 other girls…. I repeat, NINE! And I thought 3 was bad enough. We’ll see how it goes. Hopefully our throats will be intact at the end of the trip.
On the upside.. totally PUMPED for STONEHENGE TOMORROW! YAY!
